Clock Radio

Clock Radio was founded in 1984 by Jay Dougherty, who resurrected the publication in 2020 as an online review of contemporary poetry and art. The original Clock Radio lasted until 1987, published eight issues, and featured Charles Bukowski, Tom Clark, Gerald Locklin, Lyn Lifshin, Nichola Manning, Douglas Goodwin, Todd Moore, Robert Peters, Steve Richmond, and many other writers and artists.

The revived Clock Radio seeks to carry forward the standards and independence of the original publication while giving writers and artists the reach of online distribution.

Submissions are accepted year-round through the Clock Radio Forum. The artists and writers presented here appreciate comments on their work; registration is required to comment.
