About

Clock Radio was founded in 1984 by Jay Dougherty, who resurrected the publication in the year 2020 in the form of the online review of contemporary poetry and art that you are viewing now. The original Clock Radio lasted until 1987, published 8 issues, and featured Charles Bukowski, Tom Clark, Gerald Locklin, Lyn Lifshin, Nichola Manning, Douglas Goodwin, Todd Moore, Robert Peters, Steve Richmond, and many other writers and artists. The new Clock Radio Magazine seeks to replicate the high standards of the original publication while extending the visibility of featured writers and artists through the power of Internet distribution, along with a possible annual version distributed in print.
